Premises and objectives: To have a method for calculating the PML applicable to surety insurance in Mexico. The study will include:
    a) The technical procedures to determine the probable maximum loss.
    b) The statistics on which the probable maximum loss will be estimated (surety bonds).
    c) Other hypotheses and considerations used to develop the method that may influence on the obtained results.
    d) A valuation exercise to show the results of ? the method applied. This is the minimum required by Mexican legislation.
  • • Exploration of the synergies between the surety and engineering lines. All risks cover: construction, equipment and machinery, and assembly. To each event we would invite specialized engineers to clarify the problems posed by road, bridge and viaduct, railway, hydroelectric/thermoelectric power plant, refinery projects, among others, how these difficulties impact on surety bonds and the measures required for preventing/solving them. Afterwards, we would combine the presentations in a single document to be uploaded on the Web site.
